Meet us at 10th European Wood-Based Panel Symposium in Hamburg, Germany, 5-7 October, 2016. We will be presenting our GasEye Cross-Duct sensor for in-situ monitoring of formaldehyde vapor.

After introducing GasEye HCHO monomode system in 2014  we now introduce a  GasEye HCHO cross duct in situ sensor which is designed for even higher performance and for operation in harsh environment. It allows for contineous real time monitoring of formaldehyde vapor traces in both production halls (e.g. wood board production halls) as well as stack emission monitoring. No interference from other constituents in the gas sample. Highest sensitivity on the market with measurements down to low ppb levels. NIST traceable factory calibration.

We will be presenting our new product - GasEye Cross-Duct at booth #1-651. The laser based GasEye cross duct TLS spectrometer is a versatile analyzing tool for industrial process applications. It can be configured to operate in the near-infrared (NIR), mid-infrared (MIR) and infrared (IR) wavelength range thereby covering the majority of all gases of interest in industrial process monitoring. The analyzer is designed for operation in hazardous environments with the transmitter and receiver compatible with operation in Zone 1/21. Using certified high-pressure windows the analyzer can be used in Zone 0/20 measurement regions.

Airoptic joins the WideLase project

The WideLase Project concerns realization of compact, rugged and cost effective laser sources with wide tuning range for safety and security applications in the 3.3 to 7.0 μm wavelength range.

The WideLase Project concerns realization of compact, rugged and cost effective laser sources with wide tuning range for safety and security applications in the 3.3 to 7.0 μm wavelength range. Novel Interband Cascade based laser structures with wide gain bandwidth will be fabricated enabling room temperature continuous wave operation. The developed structures will exceed existing Quantum Cascade Laser performance figures in the targeted mid infrared range. Additionally, novel monolithic concepts for electrical tuning based on multi-section DFB as well as acousto-opto-electronic lasers will be developed in the wavelength range of interest. This will result in monolithic devices with an unprecedented tuning range of up to 200nm formerly in reach only by external cavity lasers. These sources will then be utilized for three different important safety and security applications: remote detection of alcohol vapor in exhaled breath, remote monitoring of formaldehyde and hydrocarbon leak detection.
The WideLase Project is supported by funding from the European Commission as part of the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7- ICT-2011.3.5 Core and Disruptive Photonic Technologies).
